The 14th Prestige at PGA WEST promises to be a highly competitive major
collegiate global golf tournament with several highly ranked teams. The
Coachella Valley and PGA WEST are considered the Western Home and an
area that blends beauty, weather and lifestyle intoone of the most popular
destinations in the world. Three million people visit the /Coachella
Valley annually. February is the most popular golf month of the
year for the area as the average daytime temperature is 75 degrees. The
Prestige at PGA WEST welcomes LSU competing in its first tournament.
A special welcome to Stirling University from Scotland. The USC Trojans
and Washington Huskies return in 2014 to defend their 2013 Prestige Co-Team
Championship. The Prestige at PGA WEST is co-hosted by eight time NCAA Champion Stanford University of the Pac 12 and UC Davis, Big West Champion
for two of the past three years.
The Greg Norman Course at PGA WEST will once again be the host course for this high caliber event and is expected to be in top condition as the invitational is played under major tournament conditions.
The Prestige at PGA WEST extends its gratitude to it sponsors, the participating universities and guests participating and attending the 2014 Prestige at PGA WEST. The support and efforts of the Southern California Golf Association, First Tee Foundation and the Southern California PGA Junior Program help to make The Prestige at PGA WEST Junior Clinic one of the largest and most unique junior golf clinics in the nation with families coming from throughout Southern California to attend.
